The story of this device
Executing an astonishing optical feat, the Contax AX achieved autofocus by motorizing the entire internal ceramic film stage rather than moving the lens elements. Unlocking full AF capability across all manual-focus Carl Zeiss C/Y lenses, it stands as an audacious engineering tour de force.
