The story of this device
Completing Sigma's specialist Merrill triad, the DP3 Merrill paired a dedicated 50mm f/2.8 macro prime (75mm equivalent) with the full-color Foveon X3 sensor. Delivering microscopic resolving fidelity for portraits and close-ups, it stood as a medium-format rival.
