Transitioning Leica's medium-format system to CMOS architecture, the Leica S (Typ 007) embedded a 37.5MP sensor driven by the Maestro II processor. Adding 4K cine capture, 3.5fps bursts, and dual focal-plane/central shutters, it mastered commercial fashion photography.
