The story of this device
The 2015 Fire HD 8 slimmed Amazon's tablet profile down to 7.7mm while introducing an 8-inch widescreen 1280x800 IPS panel. Equipped with stereo speakers tuned by Dolby Audio and expandable MicroSD storage, it provided an ultra-thin, colorful conduit for Prime movies and digital magazines.
