Co-developed by Google and HTC, the Nexus 9 served as the launch vessel for Android 5.0 Lollipop with an 8.9-inch 4:3 aspect ratio display. Driven by NVIDIA's 64-bit dual-core Tegra K1 'Denver' chip and front-facing HTC BoomSound stereo speakers, it delivered tablet computing power.
