The story of this device
The Macintosh IIvi shared the expansive CD-ROM-ready enclosure of the IIvx while trimming the 68030 CPU to 16MHz and omitting an FPU for cost savings. Hindered by a sluggish 16MHz system bus, it was produced for only a few months before being superseded.
