The story of this device
The Macintosh XL represented Apple's clever operational pivot to clear remaining Lisa 2/10 inventory by preloading the MacWorks XL emulator. Sporting a generous 12-inch screen and a built-in 10MB Widget hard drive, it served as an expansive workstation for early Mac developers.
